Founded in 1992 by Eng. Olimpiu Arsu, ITI Electra was established with a primary focus on the manufacturing of electrical control panels and the development of industrial automation systems. For over three decades, our family-owned company has been driven by a passion for engineering and a commitment to our clients, growing from a local specialist into a respected European partner.
Our journey is one of continuous growth and proven performance. In our history, we have successfully produced over 16,500 electrical panels for the Romanian market alone. A pivotal moment came in 2007 when we began our collaboration with ABUS Kransysteme of Germany. This partnership in the series production of control panels has been a major success, with over 20,000 units manufactured to date.

Our company provides turnkey execution of electrical installations, from simple to complex. We are specialists in creating solutions for the monitoring and control of industrial processes, offering advanced software applications with data transmission (via Radio, GSM) and remote command-and-control capabilities using SCADA and DCS-type systems.
Our modern factory
Our commitment to excellence is housed in our modern factory, strategically located just 20 minutes from Bucharest’s Otopeni International Airport for easy access. Our facilities are designed for maximum efficiency and quality, featuring:
- A main production floor dedicated to the precision series assembly of control panels.
- Specialized warehouses for efficient stock management and the safe storage of components and finished goods.
- A commitment to sustainability, with a 50 kW photovoltaic system covering over 80% of our energy needs, backed up by a 50 kVA generator.
- More than 5,000 m² of space available for future developments and expansion.

- Advanced testing: Every control panel undergoes 100% laboratory testing. We use a comprehensive suite of FLUKE electrical testing equipment to perform advanced procedures, including field functionality simulations.
- Precision technology: We utilize a fully automatic KOMAX wire processing system for ultimate precision in wiring , and we design our systems using ePLAN Electric and ProPanel 3D for flawless schematics and 3D cabinet layouts.
- Elite suppliers: We build reliability into our products by exclusively using high-quality components from world-renowned manufacturers such as SIEMENS, Schneider Electric, RITTAL, Phoenix Contact, Eaton, Danfoss, and Mitsubishi Electric.
